Client Side Mods of the Week #4
Hello! In this series, called Client Side Mods of the Week, we take a look at client-side Fabric mods that improve your gameplay experience for Minecraft.
We have five mods this week:
- BlockMeterFabric
- Boat Item View
- Horse Stats Vanilla
- Borderless Mining
- Beenfo
Fabric Installation
If you already know how to install Fabric, you can proceed to the next section. If you don’t know how to install Fabric, however, there’s no need to worry, as it is quite a simple installation process, and you can learn how to do so in my installation guide.
You should also have Mod Menu and Cloth Config installed, which are used by a variety of mods to configure them.
Block Meter Fabric
Block Meter Fabric is a great fabric mod that allows you to have outlines of areas that show you how long and/or wide an area is. However, you can also use it to determine how many blocks you will need for a project. For example, you can make an outline of a floor to see how many blocks you will need to the floor to a new room, or how many blocks you will get from digging out a certain area from one corner to another. There is a configurable key for the BlockMeter, which you can tap while holding an item and right click somewhere for your first corner. Then, you can right click on your opposite corner to get the second point. This will make the outline you need and show the lengths of each side, which you can add up to get your total. However, you can also use it as a handy tool to just determine how wide/long an area is.

Boat Item View
Boat Item View is a mod that gives you the ability to see the item held in your hand, such as a map, while riding in a boat. Believe it or not, you cannot do this in Vanilla Minecraft without a mod like this. It is important to keep in mind that the item still cannot be used while the boat is moving, although it’s still nice to see the item being rendered on the first place. Additionally, this mod gives you the ability to configure which mods will be rendered when sitting in a moving boat, so you don’t have to deal with an item being in your way if you don’t want to see it.
Hard Dependencies (Required): Fabric Client, Cloth Config API (Preinstalled in mod)

Horse Stats Vanilla
If you want to be able to see the health, speed, and jump height statistics of your horse, this mod will be of great assistant. With this mod installed, you can see these statistics in the inventory of horses and donkeys, with a vanilla-style appearance. You can also hold shift and right click a horse to see its statistics without riding it.

Borderless Mining
Borderless Mining fixes an extremely annoying and infuriating issue with Minecraft. Those who have more than one monitor may know that if you play Minecraft in fullscreen and use another application on another monitor, Minecraft will minimize. However, Borderless Mining fixes this issue.

Beenfo
Beenfo adds a tooltip to bee nests and hives that shows the amount of honey and bees that are contained in it.
